How much do these scoops hold?

Each chemical has a different specific gravity. To put it in lamens terms, a 5 gallon bucket which can hold 50 lbs of trichlor or tablets, will not hold 50 lbs of Diatomaceuus Earth.

I have taken the time to weigh, with a digital scale, some of the most common chemical that we use

Here are the results.....

Alladin Scoop - Yellow, Black, or Light Blue

DE = 1 lb

Trichlor = 2.8 lbs

Stabilizer = 2.4 lbs

Bicarb = 3 lbs

Calcium = 2.2 lbs

Hayward Scoop - only comes in Orange

DE = 1.25 lbs

Trichlor = 4 lbs

Stabilizer = 3 lbs

Bicarb = 4.4 lbs

Calcium = 4 lbs
