BORAX
AKA: Sodium Tetraborate Pentahydrate  or  Pro Team Supreme

Tired of battling algae in the same pools week after week?

The average cost of each algae bloom can cost you $10-$20

Why repeat the same processes over and over again with the same poor results.

One 50lb bag of Borax will treat a 25,000 pool for 1 year.

2 lbs per 1,000 gallons of pool water will give you 40 ppm an guarantee no algae.

Borax has been called birth control for algae, and has been used by several companies like US Pools in the late 1990’s & early 2000. It has been proven to lower your chemical costs & increase both profits for the service company & enjoyment for the swimmer.
This will create a silky & fresh feeling on the swimmers skin.

Recommended dosing : 10,000 gallons 20 lbs borax & 1 ½ gallon acid
10 oz acid per 1 lb borax               15,000 gallons 20 lbs borax & 2 ¼ gallons acid
                                     20,000 gallons 40 lbs borax & 3    gallons acid
                                     25,000 gallons 50 lbs borax & 3 ½ gallons acid

Add ½ of the acid first then broadcast ½ of required dosage of borax into the pool and brush until it is dissolved. Repeat following day. Do not put into skimmer because of risk of clogging lines. Borax will turn into a “cement” if not dissolved properly.  As you learned in the CPO Class the lower the PH the faster this will disolve.

1 large scoop hols 2.5lbs of Borax
