What makes Nature² the #1 natural alternative to chlorine (and bromine)?
 |
Nature², with it's breakthrough technology , uses a uniquely patented mineral process that kills bacteria on contact, faster than chlorine. And being powered by water flow, there's no electricity and no moving parts. It reduces the chemical consumption and the time you spend caring for your spa. Nature² water is brilliantly clear, soft and safe. Water purity you can see and feel ! |
Nature 2 is a water purification technology for spas and hot tubs that gives the purest, clearest water imaginable. Nature 2 products use the same minerals found in nature to trap bacteria and algae. Because Nature 2 traps bacteria and algae, less harsh chemicals are needed to keep your spa water balanced.
| By using Nature 2 , you reduce the level of harsh chemicals between 50% and 80% versus the harsh chemical levels you would need without Nature 2 . |

FAQ
| Q: |
How do I know if Nature 2 is working? |
| A: |
The best test is improved water quality. You'll notice a big difference. Visual clarity and sparkle, even at low oxidizer levels show Nature 2 is working properly. |
| Q: |
After it's installed, will water maintenance change? |
| A: |
Yes, you will dramatically reduce chemicals use and maintenance time. Water balance will be easier, meaning there's simply less to do. |
| Q: |
Do I still need to use chlorine? Why? |
| A: |
Yes, you need to use a small amount of residual oxidizer. With Nature 2 you can reduce this amount by 50% to 80%. For superior results, we recommend low levels of free chlorine (0.5 ppm free chlorine minimum). You won't feel, smell or be affected by chlorine at this level. |
| Q: |
Are low levels of minerals safer in a spa? |
| A: |
Yes, water treated by Nature 2 actually meets and exceeds EPA drinking water standards for bacteria, silver and copper. Is Nature 2 compatible with other products? Nature 2 can be used with every type of chemical treatment program available except bromine and bromide based chemicals, biguanide products (Baquacil* or SoftSwim**) and copper-based algaecides. |
| Q: |
Is Nature 2 a filter? |
| A: |
No. A filter removes particles and debris, while Nature 2 purifies water by trapping bacteria and algae, which are too small to be caught by a filter. You still need a filter when using a Nature 2 system. |
| Q: |
Is Nature 2 an "ionizer"? |
| A: |
No. Ionizers electrically discharge copper (or metal alloy) ions into water. Ionizers can deliver ions via an electrical current (electrodes) or salt dissolution. When do I replace the cartridge? Each model comes with a reminder to tell you when to replace it. |
| Q: |
What affects cartridge life? |
| A: |
Nothing — including filter run time, heavy use, hot weather, and water temperature. |
| Q: |
How do I dispose of used cartridges? |
| A: |
The minerals inside Nature 2 are natural, so it is safe for disposal with other household trash. |
| Q: |
How often do I need to super-oxidize (shock)? |
| A: |
Because of the efficiency of Nature 2 , super-oxidation is needed much less often. You only need to super-oxidize if the water becomes dull or cloudy. The start-up of each new cartridge requires an initial shock with chlorine. |
Installation
CONSULT YOUR SPA OWNER'S MANUAL BEFORE OPENING YOUR FILTER .
Step 1

Connect the support stems together and press onto main body to create a single device.
|
Step 2
Slide the entire device into the core of your existing spa filter cartridge. See examples below.

Open Top with Stand Pipe
Some spa filter systems are configured with a standpipe running the length of the filter core. Simply slide unit in from the top. Position near the top half of the cartridge for easy retrieval.
Closed Top
Simply slide unit in from the bottom. Position unit to rest on shelf inside filter core.
Note: When installed, the Spa Purifier must be at least 1" (2.5 cm) above the bottom of the filter to prevent blocking water flow. |
Specifications:
Capacity: for spas up to 1,000 gallons
Run time: minimum 4 hours daily
Flow rate: works with all spa flow rates
Installation: Drops into the core of most spa filters, works with suction-side and pressure-side filters |
| Our Customers say it best!
My husband and I have had a spa for 10 years-we would never be with out one. However, about a year ago he started having awful blotches all over his body. We tried everything to find out what it was-laundry soap, body soap, bromine or chlorine. It never went away or got better until we got Nature 2. Within a couple of weeks of changing to Nature 2 all signs of the skin irritation were gone and have never come back.
And it is so maintenance easy!! The water is always sparkling clean and there is no unpleasant odor. We love the product and will continue to use it forever.
Thanks a million!!

- The use of an efficient ozone generator with Nature2 may reduce the need for supplemental chemical treatments.
- Potassium peroxymonosulfate may cause a lowering of the pH and total alkalinity of your spa water as well as an increase in TDS.
Please monitor pH and total alkalinity at least once per week and adjust accordingly.
